Boo Boo Kitty

Boo Boo Kitty was Dogwood Animal Hospital's mascot for over 17 years. She was admitted to our hospital in critical condition from burns sustained when someone put her on a fire. Through intensive care, numerous surgeries, and a lot of love, Boo Boo Kitty was saved.

We are very sad to share the news that on June 27, 2019, surrounded by her family, Boo Boo Kitty crossed the Rainbow Bridge. At 18 years old, she lived a long and fulfilling life here at Dogwood. She will most certainly be missed by all of us here and all those who have passed through Dogwood. It was a privilege to have her in our lives and our love for her will last forever.

The Boo Boo Kitty Fund

When Boo Boo was injured there was a front page story in the paper. Donations to help with Boo Boo's care poured into the hospital. Ever since that time, we've had a Boo Boo Kitty fund to help defray the cost of surgery or medical care for less-fortunate pets and for clients that demonstrate the need.

Give us a call if you'd like to donate to the Boo Boo Kitty Fund.

Testimonials

Read What Our Clients Say

  • "Wow! Thanks to all the staff at Anderson Vet Clinic. I feel like you all truly love what you do! My kitty, Lola and I always have such a pleasant experience when we come in. Fortunately, it’s usually just for a check-up, but I would not leave Lola in anyone else’s hands but yours. Thank you for your caring commitment!"
